Urgent appointments
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.
If you are seen in an urgent care appointment it will likely not be with your usual GP. This appointment will only be to review your urgent on the day condition and you may be asked to arrange a follow-up with your usual GP.

To request a routine appointment up to two weeks in advance:

Your appointment
However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:
- by phone
- face to face at the surgery
Appointments by phone can be more flexible and often means you get help sooner.
You should always endeavour to see the same Doctor for continuity of care, however you are free to see any of the other Doctors.
As we are a two-site practice you may be asked to visit either Stirchley Medical Practice or Sutton Hill Medical Practice. Our GPs work a three-week rotation of two weeks at Stirchley and one week at Sutton Hill per team.

If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
If you need help with your appointment
Please tell us:
- if there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond
- if you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, or by text or email
- if you need an interpreter
- if you have any other access or communication needs
Home visits
It is always preferable if patients can try to come to the surgery where the best facilities are available.
Urgent cases can be fitted in when appropriate, so please let the receptionist know if you feel this situation applies to you or your family. This will be quicker than waiting for the doctor to attend on a house call.
Please try and ring before 10.30am and speak to your doctor to discuss your needs.
Home visits are for people too ill to come down to the surgery. Lack of transport is not a reason for a home visit.
Extended hours
As part of our service collaboration with South-East Telford Primary Care Network (PCN) our surgery is able to offer:
Long term condition reviews with our HCA Monday – Wednesday 07.30-08.00
Pharmacy reviews Wednesday 18.30-19.30 and Saturday 09.00-14.00
A routine GP surgery on a Saturday.
