To provide a framework where an increased range of services can be offered at a local level, GP practices are now working together as Primary Care Networks. Shawbirch Medical Centre is part of the Newport/Central Primary Care Network working with the Donnington Medical Practice and the two practices in Newport – Linden Hall and Wellington Road.
