Do you know someone with Down’s syndrome?
We are looking for adults with Down’s syndrome (also referred to as Down syndrome) to come together to talk about Health, Social Care, Education, Housing and Employment in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. We want to hear what adults with Down’s syndrome think works and what changes they would like to see.
This group will meet every few months and will be led by Ed Daly, a young man from Staffordshire, with Down’s syndrome, and Karen Webb, Deputy Senior Responsible Officer, for Learning Disabilities and Autism at Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent ICB. Ahead of each meeting, we will share detailed information about how to get to each meeting, what will happen at the meeting and who will be there.
Professionals from the NHS, Social Care, Education, Housing and Employment will also attend the meetings. Attendees are welcome to bring someone with them to the meetings if they would like to. We will support with travel expenses to attend the meeting.
If you know someone who would like to join this group, please share this registration form with them to complete. You can also use this social media graphic to promote this opportunity through your own communication channels. If you have any questions, please email ssotics.comms@staffsstoke.icb.nhs.uk.
