GP Registrars

Dale Medical Practice is a Training Practice. Whenever a GP registrar will be observing in the doctor’s consultation, patients will always be asked if they have any objection to this, and if so, will be able to see the GP on their own.

Provide administrative support for the Practice, booking appointments for long term condition patients, processing documents and results in accordance with the clinicians instructions. Chasing up patients for Immunisation and smear appointments. Pulling reports and contacting patients regarding booking appointments for regular blood test, check ups.

Our Care Navigators are trained to help and advise you.

If you request a home visit, they may ask you for a few details about the nature of your ailment to assist the doctor.

When booking nurse appointments they may also ask what your appointment is for. This is simply to ensure that the correct nurse and length of appointment is booked.

All staff are bound by our strict rules of confidentiality.

Community staff include Midwives and district nurses and phlebotomy.

District Nurses

Housebound patients receive nursing care from the team of District Nurses who are attached to the Practice.

Midwifery Team

Our midwives are attached to the practice to provide antenatal and/postnatal-care in liaison with the doctors.

Phlebotomist

A phlebotomist is provided by the Practice to do routine blood tests as requested by the doctors or nurses.
