This practice is involved in teaching medical students from the University of Warwick.

Part of this teaching involves students either observing consultations and/or actively participating in the consultations, including examination. If you would prefer that a student is not present during your consultation please inform the receptionist before seeing your doctor.

Both the doctor and the student will understand if you prefer that a student is not present during your consultation.

PCN Practice Pharmacist

Practice pharmacists can manage medication-related tasks, medication management including medication reviews, patient education, chronic disease management, collaborative care, health promotion and preventative care.

Pharmacist Technician

Pharmacy technicians play a crucial role in supporting clinical pharmacists such as manging administrative tasks and helping with medication related queries.

Mental Health Link Worker

A mental health link worker, also known as a mental health navigator or support worker, is a professional who helps individuals navigate and access mental health services and resources.

Care Coordinator

A care coordinator is a healthcare professional who is responsible for organizing and coordinating the care and services for individuals, often those with complex or chronic health conditions. Their primary role is to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and well-coordinated care across various healthcare settings and providers.

Tissue Viability Nurse

A Tissue Viability Nurse, also known as a Wound Care Nurse or Wound Management Nurse, is a specialized healthcare professional who focuses on the prevention, assessment, and management of wounds and tissue damage. We have this session on Thursdays in the practice.

Midwife

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a healthcare professional who provides support and advice to individuals and families, particularly those with young children or expecting a child. They can be contacted on 02476385447.

Physicians Associate

A Physician Associate (PA) is a healthcare professional who works under the supervision of a licensed physician (doctor) and is trained to provide a range of medical services. The role of a Physician Associate is to support physicians in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of patients.

Dieticians

A dietitian, also known as a registered dietitian (RD) or nutritionist, is a healthcare professional who specializes in the field of nutrition. Dietitians work with individuals, families, and communities to promote and maintain good health through proper nutrition.

Health & Well-being Coach

A health and well-being coach is a professional who works with individuals or groups to support and empower them in achieving their health and wellness goals. These coaches focus on the holistic well-being of their clients, addressing physical, mental, and emotional aspects of health.
