Thank you to all the patients that participated in the survey this year. We have had some fabulous feedback and also some really helpful comments.
If you have not registered for our on line service please do as this service allows you to book in advance and also to order any repeat medication.
The triage service is working well with 90% patients saying it is now easier to speak to a GP rather than 80% in the previous survey. There were a few patients that preferred the old system but the demand made this very challenging and we needed a more effective way of meeting this demand. 85% of patients are now saying they are usually seen the same day compared to 74% in the previous survey
We will continue to monitor the service we provide but compared to the National Pulse Survey – GPs were saying only 26% of patients are seen within a week across the country, compared to 98% seen within 4 days at this surgery. Our new system is giving the majority of our patients rapid access to a GP either by telephone or face to face which is a service we are proud of.
