Medical Education
We are a training practice and have Medical Students and G. P. Registrars at various levels of their training. These doctors are fully qualified will have had experience in several hospital specialties. They are completing their specialist training as a GP.
We also teach medical students and sometimes you may be asked to see the doctor or nurse with a student present. You will always be asked beforehand if this is acceptable and you may ask for the student to withdraw if you prefer to have your consultation in private.
Named GP
All patients will be allocated a named, accountable doctor who is responsible for coordinating their care. You can still talk to or make appointments with any of our doctor’s or nurse’s and not just your named doctor.
Below is a form which you can complete if you wish to change your named GP.
We are sorry but the forms are currently unavailable due to a software update. Please try again later.
Veterans
We are proud to support our Armed Forces community and being Accredited shows that we are able to deliver the best possible care and treatment for patients who have served in the armed forces.
As a Veteran Friendly GP Practice we:
- Have a clinical lead for veteran health
- Ask patients ‘Have you served?’ to identify veteran patients under the Patient Charter
- Support veteran patients to access dedicated health services
- Undertake specialist training to meet the health commitments of the Armed Forces Covenant

Safe Surgeries
We are proud to be a safe surgery for everyone in our community, and pledge to ensure that everyone in our community receives the quality healthcare they are entitled to.
In partnership with Doctors of the World UK, we will ensure that our practice offers a welcoming space for everyone who seeks to use our services.
We will ensure that a lack of identification, proof of address, or immigration status do not prevent patient registration.
As a member of the Safe Surgeries community, we will endeavour to support other Safe Surgeries and the development of the network.
