Community Midwives
Community Midwives are based at Sure Start Soho Children’s Centre / City Hospital. They provide care and advice during pregnancy and childbirth. They perform regular antenatal checks and are contactable by telephone in the event of a problem Telephone: 0121 675 1890.
Community Nurses
District Nurses are attached to Soho Road Health Centre for home nursing care needs required by patients.
Health Visitors
A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing. Health Visitors are based at Soho Road Health Centre.
