Getting your test results
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- in your Patient Access account
- phone or visit us between 10am to 4pm and we will tell you what the results are
Blood results would normally be back within 4 working days of the blood being taken.
Xray results and other investigations carried out in the hospital can take longer than this.

We are unable to disclose any results over the phone. If you have had any blood tests or other investigations please make an appointment to discuss the results.
