This rating is a testament to the continuous efforts of our staff to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care. We would like to extend our thanks to all our patients for their support and feedback, which plays a crucial role in shaping the services we offer.

Simon Tunnicliffe – Chief Operating Officer:

“Despite sustained challenges, the CQC have recognised that we have made improvements since our last inspection, and I am delighted that we have been rated ‘good’ in all areas inspected and ‘good’ overall.

We are not complacent and understand that there is more work to do.  We remain committed to further enhancing the quality of care we provide and will continue to listen to patient feedback, ensuring that we meet the needs of the people we care for.

Everyone at GPS Healthcare has worked extremely hard to achieve this outcome and I am extremely proud to lead such a hardworking and dedicated team”.

Dr Joanne Kirby – GP Partner / CQC Registered Manager:

The GPS team have worked tremendously hard to demonstrate all of the work that we do at our practice and have been rewarded with a well-deserved outcome of good from our latest CQC assessment. It was a fantastic team effort.

We were inspected on all aspects of the safe domain and have improved on our previous rating in this area. We know there is still work to do and are continually trying to improve access for patients and to meet the demands of our patient population.
