Flu
You are entitled to an annual flu vaccination if:
- you are over 65 or
- you have a chronic disease
- you have a compromised immune system
Every year the practice runs Saturday flu clinics in September, October and November. This is the ideal time to have your flu jab so that you are protected before the winter. Please put a note in your diary to make an appointment. Flu vaccines are also available after this date. Contact reception for details.
Pneumonia
You are entitled to a pneumonia vaccine if:
- you are over 65 or
- you have a chronic disease or
- you have a compromised immune system
Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
This is offered to young women to reduce the risk of cervical cancer. It is sometimes offered in secondary schools but if for some reason you or your daughter has not had all 3 three doses, the practice can provide them. Please make an appointment at reception.
