Our Doctors

Dr Eduard Roche

MB ChB (Liverpool 2002) MRCGP

Originally from Northern Ireland, I came to medical school in Liverpool University and qualified in 2002 and became a GP partner in Marine Lake in 2011.

Prior to joining the partnership, I worked as a GP in care homes, and this very much started my special interest in working with care homes, elderly patients, end of life care and issues around mental capacity.

I work in the practice 2 days a week. The remaining 3 days are spent supporting healthcare service development and clinical governance. I am Chair of Primary Care Wirral GP Federation, which is a collaborative of practices looking to improve primary care services in Wirral.

Until December 2021 I was Medical Director of Push Doctor, a large provider of digital consultations to the NHS in England. I am an NHS GP appraiser. I am married with 3 kids and I am a keen club runner in my spare time.

This goes along with my interests in family planning and gynaecology in general. I also do baby checks and have an interest in paediatrics. Another role I have is mentoring the 5th year medical students that do placements at our practice.

I enjoy supervising the 5th years and the trainee doctors that we have in the practice.
