You are invited to join our Patient Participation Group (PPG). The PPG plays a vital role in our practice by representing the patient community and providing valuable feedback to help us improve our services.
By joining our PPG, you will have the opportunity to:

🔹 Voice your opinions and feedback about the practice
🔹 Collaborate with us to enhance patient experience
🔹 Participate in discussions on healthcare initiatives
🔹 Help shape the future of our practice

If you are passionate about healthcare and want to make a difference, we welcome you to become a part of our PPG. Your insights and input are invaluable to us.

A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of people who are patients of the surgery and want to help it work as well as it can for all patients, doctors and staff.  Patient Participation Groups tend to be set up by Practices but, over time,  they are usually run by patients. Typically they will have a committee that meets regularly to give the PPG some leadership and a sense of direction.

The PPG should work closely with the Practice and it is normal for members of the Practice Team to be part of the Patient Participation Group.
Have you been to the surgery as a patient, parent, carer or friend?  Your experiences matter and you can bring different ideas to the surgery to help us treat patients better.  You will also gain a better understanding of the NHS, and gather feedback from other patients acting as a ‘critical friend’ to the Practice, by helping us understand what patients are thinking about certain issues, such as opening hours, telephone systems, requests for home visits, delays in being taken for appointment, seeing their favourite GP, seeing their favourite Practice Nurse, repeat prescriptions and the range and type of services provided within the Practice.
We plan to meet online, but not too often.  We know that you are busy, so we will meet only a few times per year and hope that you can join us.
Your views are important and will be listened to. It may not be possible to act on every suggestion, but all feedback is very valuable.

Working in a spirit of mutual respect, openness and trust, all patients’ views will be discussed and, where appropriate, we will work together on solutions.
