Alert: PRACTICE CLOSURES FOR TRAINING

The Practice will be closed from 1.30pm - 6.30pm on the following date: Wednesday 26th November 2025 this is to ensure that clinicians and non-clinicians are able to learn and train to deliver safe and effective care for our patients. If you need same day urgent care, acute prescriptions (not your repeat medication), face to face or remote consultation's or an urgent home visit please call 0161 983 0641 - THIS IS ONLY FOR ON THE DAYS WE ARE CLOSED IN THE AFTERNOON. We will be open as usual on Friday 24th October at 8.00am. Please be aware that our on-line medical requests will be closed from 1.30pm. If you require urgent medical assistance please call 0161 983 0641. If you condition is urgent or life threatening please call 999.

ON-LINE CLINICIAN TRIAGE FORM

The on-line triage form is open for routine requests from 8.30am - 6.30pm, this is not to be used for more urgent requests. If you have a condition where you feel you need to be seen the same day, please call our reception team on 0161 983 0940 who will then speak to you and advise you what the next steps are.

Non-urgent advice: It’s quicker to contact us online

You should now contact the practice using our online GP system if you can. We’re encouraging patients to contact us this way so you can tell us what you need in your own words and get the help you need from us more quickly.

Patients who do not want to go online or do this themselves can still call the surgery, and we can help fill in the online form with you over the phone.

This change aims to improve our patients’ experience when contacting us and ensure everyone receives timely care in line with new NHS contract requirements.
