Health Visitor
Our health visitors offer health advice and support mainly to families with young children. This includes help with parenting and behaviour management and also support to women with post natal depression. Please telephone them on 0141 843 4355

Advanced Nurse Practitioners
Sister Susan Simpkins is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner who can diagnose and treat many medical problems which previously required an appointment with a doctor. Please let the admin staff when booking an appointment as they will get you put in for the correct clinician.
Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANP’s) are healthcare professionals educated to Master’s level who can mange a wide variety of medical conditions. They can perform clinical examinations, order investigations and give you a prescription and arrange onward referral to hospital or other specialists.
Work also includes management of chronic diseases:
- Coronary Heart Disease
- Diabetes
- Hypertension
- Stroke
- Epilepsy
- Chronic kidney disease
- COPD and Asthma
Practice Nurse
Adele Blunt is our Practice Nurse. She can undertake initial monitoring of chronic diseases such as:

- Epilepsy
- Chronic Kidney
- COPD
- Asthma
She will sign post on for further assessment or management plans.
