Rosmellyn Surgery is a practice which takes part in research activities and the training of future medical professionals.
Medical Students
GP registers and Medical students from the Exeter University join us from time to time and they may sit in on consultations or accompany the doctors on visits.
You may be asked to give them an opportunity of taking your history in a one to one consultation prior to seeing the GP; this really enhances their training, and we ask that you agree to this if possible.
Whilst we encourage patients to allow the medical students to be present throughout a consultation, we understand that this may not be acceptable at times, so please do say so if you feel uncomfortable.
