Patient Access and Patient Survey

Posted on:

We are very aware that patients in Weardale and across England want to see a GP. There are many reasons why it is difficult to book a GP appointment and we have already shared information about the difficulties faced by primary care in England (links to Healthwatch and the BMA are further down the page)

The practice management team are reviewing the appointment booking process to enable patients to contact the practice easier and see a GP or ANP at the right time. This is a complex project and we hope to have the new system in place before Christmas.

Feedback from patients is important to us and for this project. For this reason, a patient survey was sent to patients on 5 November. The survey will be made available in the practice reception areas for those patients who do not have a smartphone or access to the internet.

It would be useful if patients could update email and mobile contact numbers either via the NHS App or via the website by logging into your SystemOne account.
