Routine appointments
To request a routine appointment:
- Use an online form to request an appointment with a doctor.
- Forms can normally be submitted Monday to Friday 8.00am to 2.00pm.
- We will normally respond within 2 working days for routine appointments.
- Online forms will be unavailable when we are at capacity. Please call 111 or 999.
- Do not use other forms to request appointments.

- Visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist.
We are open Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 6.00pm, except bank holidays.
When you get in touch, we will ask what you need help with.
If you are calling to book a routine appointment with a doctor, the medical administration team will complete a form on your behalf.

Urgent\Same Day Appointments
If you think you need an urgent appointment for today or tomorrow:
- Use an online form to request an appointment with a doctor.
- Please submit a form before 11.00am to request a same-day appointment.
- Forms can be submitted Monday to Friday 8.00am to 2.00pm.
- We will normally respond within 4 hours.
- Online forms will be unavailable when we are at capacity. Please call 111 or 999.

- Please try and call before 11.00am to request a same-day appointment.
- Visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist.

- The practice uses text messages to send booking links to patients. If you have received a text message to book your appointment, please follow the link.

- Please try and call after 2.00pm to book your appointment when the phone lines are less busy unless you need to book a same-day appointment.
Your appointment
However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:
- by phone
- face-to-face at the surgery
- on a video call
- by text or email
Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means you get help sooner.
Cancelling an appointment
To cancel your appointment:
- Use your NHS account – (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- Using the GP online system – SystmOnline
- Use the patient invitation link you received by text to book your appointment.

If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
If you need help with your appointment
Please tell us:
- If there is a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond
- If you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email
- If you need an interpreter
- If you have any other access or communication needs
Home visits
If you are housebound and need an appointment, you can request a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need.
Please call before 11.00am if a home visit is required that day. A doctor, paramedic, district nurse, or practice nurse may visit you at home.
