Crocus Medical Practice

Welcome to our new surgery website.

Local and NHS services

The surgery works in partnership with local and NHS service providers and groups.

111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It’s fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.

In case of a life-threatening emergency, please dial 999.

Please note that Crocus Medical Practice will be closed for essential clinical and staff training, between the hours of 13:30 – 17:30 on the following dates detailed below:

– Thursday 9th January 2025
– Tuesday 4th February 2025
– Wednesday 5th March 2025

This closure is alongside the other practices within our Primary Care Network (North Uttlesford PCN – Crocus Medical Practice, The Gold Street Surgery, Newport Surgery and Thaxted Surgery).

If you need medical advice or assistance while the surgery is closed, please visit 111.nhs.uk or call 111 (which is free from any landline or mobile).

We apologise for any inconvenience.
