We make every effort to make the surgery accessible for disabled patients. There is access through the main door and we have a wheelchair available for use in surgery.

Hearing Difficulties
If you are experiencing hearing difficulties when being called in to see the doctor or nurse, please do let us know in order for us to set up an alert on your medical records and personally collect you from the waiting room. Alternatively, we do have the facility of a portable induction loop. If you would like to use this, please ask at reception for assistance.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.

You can now see a GP, Nurse and Healthcare Assistant outside of the surgery opening hours.

These appointments are delievered alongside the other practices within our Primary Care Network (North Uttlesford PCN – Crocus Medical Practice, The Gold Street Surgery, Newport Surgery and Thaxted Surgery) and offers additional, pre-booked appointments at convenient times to suit your needs. 

These operate from within the 4 practices and appointments are booked through your GP practice. It is not a ‘walk-in’ service and is for booked appointments only.

If you would like to be booked into one of these extended access appointments then please contact your GP surgery accordingly. Please note these clinics are very popular and do get booked up well in advance.
