Please note that the Friends of Testvale Surgery have now reinstated the Blood Pressure service which operates from the Information Room in the Waiting Room of the Surgery.

If you have received a text message from the practice or if the doctor or nurse has asked you to give blood pressure readings then you can do this easily by booking a BP appointment with us.

You can do this by calling the surgery on 02380 866999 (please avoid calling at 8am or 2pm which are our busiest times) or booking online using your Patient Access account by clicking on the following link: Patient Access Login

The availability of clinics are as follows:

  • Monday – 9.30-12.00 midday and 14.30-17.00pm
  • Tuesday – not currently available
  • Wednesday – 9.30-12.00 midday and 14.30-17.00pm
  • Thursday –14.30 -17.00
  • Friday – 9.30-12.00 midday

Home Blood Pressure Monitors

A good way of making sure you get the best blood pressure reading, particularly if you need to take regular readings is to use a home blood pressure monitor.

You can buy a machine for your own use at home for around £20. The pharmacist will be happy to advise about the best type of machine for you.

Blood Pressure Recording and Monitoring Sheet

To send us your results, please print off and complete your Blood Pressure Readings using the recording sheet below. Please don’t forget to add your name and date of birth to the chart so we can upload the information to your medical record.
