Quote / Testimonial:
The Kennet and Avon Medical Partnership (KAMP) serves a beautiful area of rural North East Wiltshire intersected by the River Kennet, the River Avon and the Kennet and Avon Canal. Our team of 12 GPs, supported by a team of nurses and a team dedicated to Transforming Care of Older People, provide primary care services to around 17,500 patients. The team at KAMP and services operate over two sites, Marlborough and Pewsey surgeries and our patients can access services at either location.

Through our Primary Care Network (PCN), East Kennet PCN we work alongside three local practices, Great Bedwyn – Old School Surgery, Burbage Surgery and Ramsbury and Wanborough Surgery, we are able to employ extra staff who work across the PCN. Being part of this network enables KAMP to provide additional services such as physiotherapy and Health and Well-Being Support through social prescribers and care co-ordinators.

In 2021, KAMP was awarded the status of GP Training Practice, training qualified doctors to become GPs.

KAMP is a dispensing practice and able to offer dispensing services at Marlborough to eligible registered patients.

KAMP works closely with the Bath, North Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Commissioning Board to deliver our extended services.
