Ordering Your Repeat Prescription
You can request your medication 7-10 days before you are due to run out.
We are required to reject requests outside of this timeframe without a valid reason, so if you need to make an early request for any reason, please let us know when you place your repeat request.
The easiest way to order repeat prescriptions is using using online applications as follows:
- Your NHS account
- Our GP online system: SystmOnline
If you cannot get online, write your request, including full name, date of birth, medication and dose, and post it into our dispensary letterbox.
If you need any help or further information, feel free to please call our team – see contact details below.
Please Note: We are unable to take repeat prescription requests over the phone.
Collecting Your Medication
You will need to choose whether to collect from our own in house dispensary or from a pharmacy. This is known as your “nominated pharmacy”.
You can change your nominated pharmacy at any time:
- via your NHS account or website where you order repeat prescriptions
- at any pharmacy that accepts repeat prescriptions
- In person at KAMP, please speak to our dispensary team
For patients eligible to collect their medication direct from the dispensary at Marlborough surgery, please allow 2 working days.
You can receive a text you when your medication is ready to collect if you contact details are up to date.
For non-dispensing patients, please contact your nominated Pharmacy to ask how long they need to process your request
Medication Reviews
We review any regular medication on a repeat prescription annually and wherever possible we will do this without you having to attend the surgery.
For some medication, we will require you to undertake some monitoring tests, such as providing us with up-to-date blood pressure readings, or having some blood tests.
If you have been advised that your medication review is due, please contact the surgery. If you would prefer to have a conversation as part of your medication review, please make the Patient Navigator aware of this when booking your appointment.
Our Clinical Pharmacists
We have clinical pharmacist as part of the team at KAMP with whom you can make a telephone appointment, during surgery opening hours to discuss your medication. Meet the Team
