Around Vaccinations (non travel)

The NHS routine vaccination schedule can be viewed here

Every October we delivery our Flu Vaccination clinics, and you will be invited by text message if you are eligible. Please make sure your contact details are updated

We also deliver:

  • Pneumococcal (Streptococcal pneumonia) vaccinations to the at risk population and the >65 years
  • Herpes Zoster (shingles) vaccination to those eligible for this
  • Covid -19 vaccinations when permitted and stocks available
  • Whooping cough vaccines in pregnancy (usually after the 20 week scan)
  • RSV vaccines– This new program for 75-80 years is to protect against a nasty virus that causes winter respiratory infections and pneumoniae. We will be running special clinics for this. Read more here.
  • FLU Vaccine- We offer flu vaccines from the start of the season (date determined by NHS England). We usually run a big weekend clinic and then ‘catch up’ clinics, for patients >65 years and those ‘at risk’. Read more here. For 2024 the text messages to invite people have already gone out, and we will be phoning those with no mobile number on record.
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccine- All children are offered this (and 2 doses gives long term protection) but if you missed your full two dose course then we can do catch ups on the NHS program. In 2024 there has been a resurgence of measles outbreak and so we advise all patients to be aware of their vaccination status. Read more here. You can check yours by logging into the NHS app on your smartphone or computer
