Kingstone Surgery Charitable Trust

The Trust has been running for over twenty years. Do you know what is does?

It was started by Drs Sleath and Warner to manage monies donated by grateful patients and their families and fundraising events. This money is kept ‘in Trust’ by the KSCT until requests are made by the surgery for the acquisition of items that are not readily available through the NHS.

The Trust also runs fund raising quizzes and community events. Please keep an eye on the notice board in the surgery and our website for the date of the next quiz. All proceeds to the KSCT.

The trustees are local people who meet 4 times a year to discuss the requests made by the surgery and make arrangements for the quizzes.

Over the years many items have been purchased for the surgery, for example;

  • Anti-bacterial chairs
  • Books for the waiting room
  • Label printers for prescribed medication
  • Examination lights
  • Dermatoscope
  • Pharmacy fridge
  • Surgery trolley
