Minor Injury Unit (MIU)

The MIU is open from 8:00 – 20:00 Monday – Friday

We also open the MIU on some Saturdays during the school Summer Holidays and on Bank Holidays (please ring in advance to check our opening hours)

Anybody can present with minor injuries. You don’t have to be a registered patient at the surgery. During the COVID pandemic we ask where possible you call ahead on 01736 793333. This will help us manage flow of patients and maintain social distance.

(Non-injury related problems will require a pre-booked appointment and you should contact the surgery in advance).

The service allows anyone with a variety of injury conditions to gain immediate advice and treatment from our skilled team of Primary Care Practitioners (Nurse Practitioners & Paramedics), supported by a Duty Doctor.
