Winter Pressures

In recent weeks, our appointment provision has been reduced by much staff illness and sick leave. This has been compounded by no winter pressures funding from the ICB this year to employ temporary/extra staff at DMP to respond to demand.

We are grateful to our clinicians for working extra hours to try to dilute the impact of the above, but primary care will always be very busy at this time of year.

We thank all our patients for their understanding and patience during this challenging time.
