NHS 111 service will give you advice if you urgently need medical help but the situation is not life-threatening. NHS 111 is staffed by a team of trained advisers and experienced nurses. They will ask you questions to assess your symptoms, then give you the healthcare advice you need.

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

  • Treat yourself at home
  • Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
