At Welbeck Surgery, looking after your health and wellbeing is our passion, we see it as our duty. With over 5,000 patients in our caring community, we are committed to providing you with comprehensive healthcare services tailored to meet your individual needs.
Our clinical team consists of three GP partners and one Advanced Nurse Practitioner, each having more than 20 years’ experience working within the NHS. Furthermore, we have a practice nurse, two health care assistants, a clinical pharmacist, and access to a wider healthcare team through our primary care network. This includes mental health practitioners, social prescribers, physiotherapists and many more community teams. The day-to-day running of our surgery is managed by our Practice Manager, leading the team with a focus on effective communication, collaboration, and support. Our administrative team serves as the backbone of the practice, ensuring seamless and effective handling of all administrative tasks, coordinating appointments, and maintaining records with precision and care. Their open and proactive approach contributes to the smooth running of the surgery.
We understand that your health journey is unique. Whether you require a routine appointment, a screening appointment, a health check, a long-term condition review (we call it birthday month review), vaccinations, a referral to a specialist or something else, our dedicated team of healthcare professionals is here to support you every step of the way.
From the moment you walk through our doors you will receive the highest quality of care in a welcoming and comfortable environment. As your GP surgery we play a vital role in promoting and maintaining the health of our patients and the community. Our goals encompass various aspects, including preventative care, early detection of illness, chronic disease management and patient education, such as lifestyle counselling.
We believe in fostering strong relationships with our patients built on respect and open communication. Your concerns and questions are always welcome, and we strive to empower you with the knowledge and resources needed to make informed decisions about your health.
Thank you for choosing us to be a part of your health care team.
Dr Elliss, Dr Skinner and Dr O’Callaghan and the whole Welbeck Team.
